Building Trades II


Back to Building Trades

Students returning for the second year of the program will develop the skills essential to the cabinetmaking, furniture and boat building industries. Safety practices, tool and equipment utilization, identification of building materials, fasteners, hardware, basic math and blueprint reading will all be addressed. The mastering of these skills and competencies will culminate in the construction of tool boxes, cabinets, furniture and small boats.
