This is a year long two block course in the PM session at SRTC. The class is designed to  introduce students to safely / accurately set up /operate lathes, milling machines, saws, drilling machines and grinders. Students learn to use a variety of precision measuring tools and interpret drawings as they progress through a series of projects in the lab. Upon completion of this course, students should have an understanding of the demands of the precision metal trades.
