Second Annual College/Career Fair Held
Students from high schools throughout York County attended the Second Annual College/Career Fair on Thursday, November 15th at the Memorial Gym, which was hosted by Sanford High School and the Sanford Regional Technical Center. Unlike other such events, this fair catered to all students regardless of their post-graduation track. Not only were there reps from many area colleges, but local and regional business attended as well, along with members of all the branches of the armed forces. Over 75 different organizations were represented, all engaged in discussing future opportunities with our area juniors and seniors.
The fair planning committee would like to thank staff throughout the county and particularly the district for preparing their students and accompanying them to the fair, schools who sacrificed their gym or parking lot for the day, and all the students and staff who assisted with set up and/or clean up. Together our efforts were a resounding success!
